IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date and recommends CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 100 An Act making and amending capital, supplemental, and other appropriations; making and amending appropriations to capitalize funds; ratifying certain expenditures; making and amending appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date. with the following Letter of Intent be adopted: It is the intent of the legislature that the funds provided to the Department of Transportation, Northern Region Highways and Aviation, under section 17, subsection (h), of this appropriations bill be utilized to provide snowplowing for the following roads: 1999-03-16 Senate Journal Page 0566 HB 100 Taylor Highway Boundary Spur McCarthy Road Nome/Teller Road Nome/Council Road Glacier Creek Road Fairbanks Creek Road; Tofty Road/Manley Kougarok Road Signing the report: Senator Parnell, Chair, Senators Torgerson, Adams, Representative Mulder, Chair, Representatives Therriault, Grussendorf. Senator Mackie moved that the 24 Hour Rule under Uniform Rule 42(c) be suspended on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO.100. The question being: Shall Uniform Rule 42(c) be suspended? The roll was taken with the following result: Suspend Uniform Rules? YEAS: 18 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly Tim, Leman, Mackie, Miller, Parnell, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Excused: Kelly Pete, Lincoln and so, Uniform Rule 42(c) was suspended. Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the Letter of Intent be adopted. Without objection, the Letter of Intent was adopted. Senator Mackie moved that the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 100. 1999-03-16 Senate Journal Page 0567 HB 100 The question being: Shall the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 100 An Act making and amending capital, supplemental, and other appropriations; making and amending appropriations to capitalize funds; ratifying certain expenditures; making and amending appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget reserve fund; and providing for an effective date? Senator Mackie moved that the constitutional budget reserve fund sections (Article IX, Section 17(c), Constitution of the State of Alaska) be adopted. The question being: Shall the constitutional budget reserve fund sections be adopted? Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
